Income Protection Claims

Income protection insurance provides a fixed amount or a percentage of your pre-disability income if you are unable to work.
Typically, there is a short waiting period before payments begin, and coverage generally lasts for at least two years, with payments made fortnightly or monthly. However, some policies extend coverage for up to five years or until a specified age, such as 55, 60, or 65.

You can usually lodge an income protection claim even if months or years have passed since you stopped working, with payments backdated to the end of the waiting period. In most cases, making an income protection claim does not impact your ability to lodge a Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claim.

At Superlaw Claims, we have worked with individuals handling income protection claims for a combined 50+ years. In this time, we’ve seen it all and know the inner workings of insurance companies and policies. This allows us to give you a smooth, quick process based on our track record for successful claims.

If your claim has been denied, we’ll assess your individual needs and fight for what’s rightfully yours. In most cases, we’re able to use our knowledge of both insurance companies and different medical matters to settle the matter out of course.
